I'm feeling quite spoiled as I begin this project of scanning all of the beautiful records that Grandma & Grandpa kept. Not only did she keep a fantastic record, she organized photos into beautiful narrated albums that are so fun to look through.
Dad and Lisa and I have been going through the boxes and boxes of records. Lisa has scanned one of the military service albums and I've completed the "Wedding & Early Years" album. Here are a few pictures from that scrapbook. We'll continue to discuss ideas for how to distribute this best to all of you, and if you have suggestions, please let us know. For now, we're just scanning, scanning, scanning, taking care to scan at good resolution in jpg format (I'll create pdf files for each album once it's scanned for easy viewing).

Jana, This looks great! Shall we include our scans of grandmas photo albums in The Hardman Gallery, or create a separate blog for them? Or no blog?
